Preventing Wrist Pain in Handstands

If you have spent any time on your hands, you'll know that wrist pain or wrist injuries are one of the quickest way to stop your handstand progress. If you can't spend time practicing, then you can't be making the progress that you want for your handstand. In this video I discuss two important components for preventing wrist pain:

  • Wrist preparation
  • Wrist recovery/complimentary work

Wrist preparation is the work that you do before your handstand practice to prepare yourself for your practice.

Wrist recovery is complimentary work that you'll do in a separate session or at the end of the session to really help maintain the balance of all the tissues in your wrists, hands and forearms.
